HOW NEUTRON STAR IS FORMED ??.....
NEUTRON STAR
Star's are having diiferent climax to there life and the the factor responsible for it is the "mass of the star". if the mass is lesser like our sun then it turns WHITE DWARF , if the mass is millions time larger than our sun, then it turns out BLACK HOLE. and the question arises what happens if the mass of the star lies inbetween the both the above two cases .
----- and the answer is NEUTRON STAR .
How does it form??......
As we know the evolution of star starts from hydrogen and then converting into different elements finally turns out to iron(Fe). Iron won't emits radiation resulting in collapse of star due to huge gravity . Due to such a large compression of star , it will explode and we call it as "SUPERNOVA EXPLOSION". Shock waves are produced at the instant of explosion .

after the explosion the left part is we call it as NEUTRON STAR . It is having huge magnetic field , it is spinning at faster rate and it is so dense that 1.4 times the mass of the sun is compressed in a few km area .
THE CHANDRASHEKARA'S LIMIT:
This suggests us what minimum mass is required by a star to get converted to whitedwarf or neutron star or black hole.
--the minimum mass required to get converted into NEUTRON STAR is =1.4 solar mass
SO WHY DO WE CALL IT AS NEUTRON STAR??.............

Due to the high gravity the electrons and protons are combined forming neutrons . The 90% of the neutron star is containing neutrons.
The surface of the star is containing iron nuclei and electrons but when we go deeper and deeper protons get reduced . As we go more deeper we get to know a matter called " NUCLEAR PASTA " -- It is the hardest part in the universe which is containing protons and neutrons . Due to high gravity every proton and neutron is compressed resulting in forming Nuclear Pasta . The centre part is conataining QUARK-GLUON PLASMA .
